## How pricing works

The models and agent software are free and open. The client owns the computer. The client pays for Patrick's time, only where it helps.

- Hourly, by the project or on retainer, whichever fits how the client works.
- Hardware at cost.
- No meter: no per-token billing. The ongoing costs are the computer, its power and any support the client chooses.

Prices are not published. Every engagement is shaped on the free check, and most combine a few services.

## How it starts

1. **Free 30-minute private AI check.** One call with Patrick. No cost, no pitch deck, no commitment. The client walks away knowing where their data goes today and what is exposed, whether a self-hosted AI is right for them, where to draw the line with cloud AI, and what agents built on their own data could do.
2. **One working agent.** Pick one recurring job that costs time or money. Patrick shows whether an agent can do it, builds it, and proves it works before going further.
3. **Taught or built.** The client chooses whether Patrick teaches them to run it or builds and looks after it.
